Grade #3 Vermiculite
is a lightweight cushioning absorbent that can be used whenever
the potential for leakage exists. DOT/IAT/ICAO/UPS require cushioning
absorbents when shipping many hazardous liquids by air.
Vermiculite also cushions and absorbs shock. For
estimating purposes one 4 cubic foot bag can absorb up to 8-9 gallons
of water. Absorption rates may vary for different liquids. 4 Cubic
